APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra Backplate Kit — 6x NEMA 5-20R
The SRYLPD2 backplate kit reconfigures the output of an APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra (SRYL) to match site-specific outlet requirements. Where standard rack PDUs fix outlet configuration at manufacture, the SRYL platform supports field-installable backplate kits — meaning a single UPS SKU can be deployed across environments with different outlet needs.
Why Field-Configurable Outlets
Data centers, branch sites, and edge compute environments rarely have identical outlet requirements. The SRYL backplate ecosystem lets a single base UPS serve sites needing L6-30R high-current outlets and sites needing L6-20R standard outlets — without separate SKUs or distribution panels.
