Product Highlights
Description
APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra Service Bypass Unit —
The SRYLSBP20KP is a maintenance bypass unit (MBB) for APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra (SRYL) systems at the capacity. It allows utility power to bypass the UPS so service technicians can perform maintenance on the UPS itself — module replacements, firmware updates, internal diagnostics — without taking connected loads offline.
Why a Maintenance Bypass Matters
In production environments running modular UPS systems, scheduled maintenance is a recurring activity. Without an MBB, every maintenance window requires either downtime or a fully redundant UPS to absorb the load. The MBB provides a third option: utility power passes through to the load while the UPS is temporarily taken out of the power path for service.
Key Features
- Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) Compliant: Prevents accidental bypass activation during routine work; supports plant safety protocols.
- Hardwire Input / Output: Permanent installation alongside the SRYL UPS in the same rack or adjacent enclosure.
- Compatible with All SRYL Models: Standard accessory for the Smart-UPS Modular Ultra platform.
- 5-Year Repair or Replace Warranty: Matched to the SRYL service lifecycle.
